2024 SOUTH PARK TOWNSHIP COMMUNITY DAY

South Park Township's "Party In The Park" will rock this year's annual Community Day celebration on Saturday, September 21, 2024.

Community Day kicks off with a parade at 11:00 a.m. Then head to the fairgrounds for food, vendors, games, and entertainment. There will be bounce houses and inflatable games, a dunk tank, a petting zoo, visits with mascots from various local organizations, and so much more. Some new additions this year include a full nine-hole mini golf course from Steel City Mobile Mini Golf, hosted by The Friends of South Park Township Library. Also, the Pennsylvania Army National Guard will be hosting a climbing wall at this year's event. The Beer Garden will return with a new location on the field. Identification will be required.

The "Clintones" will headline this year's 90's themed bash on the Main Stage. In addition, there will once again be performances from dancers with Showtime Dance by Carly, and "The Mazeroskis" will complete this year's entertainment. The much-anticipated Hot Dog Eating contest will also bring the crowd to their feet as they cheer on competitors raising money for South Park Township organizations.

2024 PARADE INFORMATION

The Community Day Parade will begin at 11:00 a.m. The parade route will be along Corrigan Drive, right onto Brownsville Road, and continue into the South Park Fairgrounds driveway.

To secure your spot in the parade and ensure the information is correct, please print out and complete the Parade Application form, found online here, and mail it to Dawn Kempton, 955 Westchester Road, South Park, PA 15129 by September 1, 2024. 2024 VENDOR INFORMATION

To reserve a space at Community Day, please fill out the online form and pay the non-refundable fee by clicking here. Sign up early to secure your exhibit booth space, as registration prices will go up on May 1, 2024 and applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

There will be no indoor vendor spots this year and access to electricity will be extremely limited.

The cost for CRAFT Vendors is $30 for one 10 foot x 10 foot space, $60 for one 20 foot x 10 foot space, or $90 for one 30 foot x 10 foot space. The cost for FOOD vendors is $60 for one 10 foot x 10 foot space, $110 for a small food truck, or $150 for a large food truck. You will be sent paperwork to the e-mail provided, detailing space location. Applications must be submitted by September 1, 2024 to ensure that your requested space is available. The only thing you are not permitted to sell or give away is bottled water.

Prizes will be given to the top three vendors with the best decorations encapsulating the "Party in the Park" theme.
