Tri-Community South Emergency Medical Services (EMS) is owned and operated by the Townships of South Park, Upper St. Clair and the Municipality of Bethel Park to provide emergency care in the three communities.

Fire Department (Broughton Volunteer)

Police Department

The Police Department wishes to stress that they are available to help Township residents whenever they are in need of assistance, 24-hours a day, 7 days a week. Emergency Number: 911. Non-Emergency Number: (412) 473-3150.

Public Library

Today the South Park Township Library is a vital part of the community. Located in the same building as the Administrative Offices at the Municipal Complex, it is staffed with three librarians, four clerks, three pages and a computer instructor.

Public Works Department

The Public Works Department works Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. and during emergencies. It consists of 9 full-time employees and the Public Works Director.

Recreation Department

Recreation Department, headed by Recreation Director Colleen Dominick, provides organized recreational activities for all residents. Details of programs are published in the Park News and flyers are distributed at the schools.

Refuse, Recycling and Sewer

Refuse collection in South Park Township is subcontracted to a private company, Waste Management. Sewer Rental is provided by the Township. The sewer/refuse billing clerk is Michele Schwerer.
