BOOKKEEPER

South Park Township is seeking an energetic, motivated individual who excels at multitasking for the position of Bookkeeper. The position is under the direction of the Township Manager. Duties include the preparation of financial reports, general ledger maintenance, payroll quarterly reports, reconciliation of investment accounts, municipal pensions, and assistance with budgetary planning. Candidates for this position will possess the following qualifications: A degree in accounting, finance or a related field, or a minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible financial experience in accounting, finance or a related field. Familiarity with the Prosoft financial and payroll software system a plus. Direct experience in municipal government preferred. The annual salary for 2023 is $51,900. PART-TIME ADMINISTRATIVE CLERK

South Park Township is seeking a qualified individual to fill the part-time position of Administrative Clerk. The candidate will be offering support to multiple Township departments with tasks. Duties include assisting in the wage tax and sewage/refuse office with data entry, filing, account research, accepting and processing payments, and filing/scanning in the Code Enforcement Office. Additional duties include, but are not limited to, assisting at the Reception Desk during the lunch period and during vacations. The ability to deal with the public in a polite and courteous manner is essential. Good organizational skills, computer skills, and the ability to work well in a group environment are also requirements. The starting rate is $15.76 per hour, with a maximum of 20 hours of employment per week. Additional hours are needed when relieving for vacations. The work schedule is 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday and Tuesday, and 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
