Township Manager

The manager is responsible for the day-to-day administration of Township business and the direction and function of all Township departments. The manager is the administrative consultant to all boards and commissions and is responsible for the preparation and administration of the budget. The Manager is appointed by the Board of Supervisors. The Manager is Mark G. Schroyer.

Assistant Manager

Appointed by the Board of Supervisors, the Assistant Manager assists the manager in performing administrative and managerial work. She directs and deals with personnel matters, submits grant applications and serves in the absence of the manager. The Assistant Manager is Karen Fosbaugh.

Township Solicitor

Appointed annually by the Board of Supervisors, the solicitor takes care of all legal problems and services. The current solicitor is Paul J. Gitnik, Esquire.

Township Engineer

Appointed by the Board of Supervisors. The engineer reviews, designs infrastructure improvements including but not limited to roads, bridges, storm sewers and sanitary sewers. Also reviews site plans and subdivision plans and works with the Planning Commission. The engineering firm of Herbert, Rowland and Grubic, Inc. (HRG) represents the Township.

Public Works Director

Appointed by the Board of Supervisors. The Public Works Director oversees the maintenance of public streets and the storm and sanitary sewer systems. Bruce R. Beaver is the Public Works Director.

Building Inspector/Zoning Officer

Responsible for the enforcement of building codes and zoning ordinances, and acts as a consultant to the Zoning Hearing Board. Gary Wargo is the Building Inspector/Zoning Officer.
Police Chief

Appointed by the Board of Supervisors. The Police Chief is the administrative head of the Police Department and runs the day-to-day activities of the Department. The Police Chief is Joseph F. Ferrelli. He is assisted by Deputy Chief Dennis M. McDonough.

Library Director

Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the library and appointed by the Board of Supervisors. Sharon Bruni is the Library Director.

Children's/Assistant Librarian

Assists the librarian in the day-to-day operation of the library, and is appointed by the Board of Supervisors. Mary Planiczki currently holds this position.

Recreation Director

This is a part-time position. The Recreation Director is appointed by the Board of Supervisors and plans the recreational activities sponsored by the Township. Colleen Dominick is the Recreation Director.

Emergency Management Director

Fire Chief Dennis M. McDonough is the Emergency Management Director.

Host Municipal Inspector

This is a part-time position, which was instituted to protect the Township’s interests at the sanitary landfill. Leo Gigliotti is the Host Municipal Inspector.
